Well I never thought I would be posting this sad news........Image

Poor Rocky sadly passed away yesterday. A total shock to Maggie and Eric who are naturally very upset at this time. Image

Rocky came home from the BIGGSD walk at Elstead on Sunday and was later unwell. Things became worse and the vet found Rocky had cancer of the spleen which had spread to his liver; his stomach was full of blood.........

RIP Rocky. You leave a brother and sister behind and will be greatly missed by your mum and dad.

Run free at the bridge sweetheart and know you were loved to the end.

I was absolutely gobsmacked when Maggie told me about Rocky.
He was such a lovely natured old chap.
Everyone liked him.
He will be missed on the walks.
The worst thing about having dogs is they aren't with us for long enough.
I know you'll miss him, Maggie and Eric.
But think about all the love you gave him and the love he returned to you.
If he could say it, I'm sure he would say thanks for giving him a happy place to live out his last few years.

We are all there for you. Mick and the gang from the walks.
And known to enjoy the occasional "cultural" weekend away - without the dogs

That is so sad.
Thoughts are with the owners right now.
R.I.P. Rocky
