Here is Tolie..... Image Image

Tolie originally came to us around 5 years ago and quickly found himself a new home. Sadly his new owner is now unwell and is no longer able to look after him. He’s an elderly gent now, who has lived a quiet life in the country, so would really love somewhere quiet without too many visitors and a large garden to potter in. He walks well on lead and doesn’t really pull, especially once the initial excitement of going for a walk has worn off! He does get a bit anxious with people he doesn’t know, especially if they wave their hands about and can be overprotective in the home.

Once he gets to know you, Tolie is quite affectionate and likes being groomed. He is quite an anxious dog so we would not rehome him to a busy home with lots of visitors or children. He would prefer a home as an only dog.

Donation and homecheck applies. Please contact the Rehoming Team on 07487 809343.

Tolie had to visit the vet recently when it was found he had very bad hips plus arthritis in his right elbow.

Surgery is not for Tolie so he is now on painkillers and looking for a long term foster.

TOLIE IS NOW WITH JOHN ROBSON AT CHERTSEY.

John previously fostered Tolie back in 2014 and it wasn't long before this lovely boy was rehomed.

Tolie really is a gentle boy and we are looking for a nice, quiet retirement home for him. If interested, please contact John Robson on 01932 571268

UPDATE ON TOLIE

Tolie has been with me for 2 weeks now and proving to be a very loving boy. He loves to have human companionship and be fussed over.

When Tolie first arrived, he had slight difficulty in managing the steps up to my door but now, he manages them with ease. His general walking has also improved since being with me.

The only down-side to his nature is that of being over protective. However, this could be managed by a person with GS experience.

All in all, Tolie would make someone a great companion and has a lot of love to give: he definitely doesn't look or act like a 10year old! 01932 571268
