Welcome to German Shepherd Rescue South

German Shepherd Rescue South is a small registered charity which rescues and rehomes unwanted, abused or stray German Shepherd dogs throughout the UK.
Our aims are either:-

a) To keep dogs in their own home

b) To find a suitable new home

c) To place a dog in a foster home
Our Dogs

All the German Shepherd Dogs that come into the rescue are firstly fully assessed in their own home by an experienced volunteer.
This enables us to certify the dogs history and to check its temperament prior to any future adoption or fostering.

By doing this we can ensure the best possible match can be found. We sometimes have to use private boarding kennels for our dogs but we endeavour where possible to keep the period of time they spend there to an absolute minimum.
