John Rudi is about 5 years old, another fantastic dog. He loves cuddles and a scratch. Poor JR was abandoned by his owners and is very sad. So let's make him happy again. During his time with us at the kennels, he seems to be wary of some dogs and socialising at our dog classes would really help his confidence in these situations. He is getting better around other dogs. He will have a polite sniff with the calm girls through the paddock fence. He is learning to wait and allow himself to be distracted with pieces of ham or hotdog on a walk when other dogs pass.
He wants to please.
An owner who is prepared to put some time into continuing his training in a calm and positive way will do well with him.
Older children would be best if there are any in the family. He has not been bothered by seeing cats or livestock so far. He is good in the car and loves his walks. He will be a loyal and loving companion for someone.
