It would be lovely if everyone was born with Common sense
When will this stop we are being told every day about dogs and heat
Yet idiots still take their dogs for walks in this extreme heat

During extreme temperatures, I don't know why a bulletin can't be given out in the news to alert pet owners of the danger of heat exposure.

This includes people jogging or riding a bike at mid-day, with a dog trailing behind; dogs being left in hot cars; small furry pets like rabbits which are kept in outside hutches in the full sun etc. who cannot escape the heat

I just don't understand why some people do not realise their dog or pet gets hot - as we do! :exclamation:

Now another dog has needlessly died and no doubt there will be further deaths, whilst this unnusually hot weather continues, all through people's STUPIDITY!!!

But that, I'm afraid, is people!!!

Ours are going out at 10 at night and even 7 in the morning is too hot at the moment. I don’t even play with them in the garden...they must think I’m a right grump but I don’t want them running around in this heat. Luckily we’ve got plenty of shade out there so they’re doing ok but...

...you can’t teach stupid!

I went out at 8.30 this morning to get shopping early
Plus went to water a friends garden
WOW at that time of the day it was very hot.
Yet I saw one man walking two dogs on a retriever with heavy coat(in this heat)
Another with a VERY old Labrador panting and could hardly walk
SERIOUSLY
I am shocked to say the least
My dog and cat have iced water and fans on
How can pet owner be so STUPID.
I walk my dog after 8 at night still warm then
