This poor poor lad had to have his back leg amputated. He came into foster in the UK and his foster mum became increasingly concerned about his remaining leg. He seemed to be in a considerable amount of pain. X-rays revealed hip dysphasia in his hip. Athos may need a hip replacement how eve hes been offered the opportunity to go to Four Seasons hydrotherapy centre in wales to see whether a structure exercise and hydrotherapy programme can improve his chances of living a pain free life. He lady that runs the centre is charging £35 per week for B and B and hydrotherapy will be £25 per session. This fundraiser is for 13 weeks residential stay (13x £35), funding for a bespoke set of wheels (estimate £375) and 24 sessions of hydrotherapy (£600) . please help us give this boy a chance

Dear gentle boy Athos, we are so sorry we couldn’t give you the life you deserved. We tried everything we could to help you after your accident with the help of Peter Madaras and his team. But your injuries and your health problems proved to be too much for you in the end. You were loved by so many people, particularly the women in your young life. Sue James, Paula, Liz Boguski, Marilyn and Janette all cared deeply for you and will miss you so much 💔💔 Rest in peace you wonderful brave boy. See you over the rainbow bridge, running free. As all German shepherds should
