Tia, Rottweiler, DOB 09.05 – Addlestone, Surrey![]() Homing Requirements: Tia has recovered her health but needs joint supplements and anti-inflammatories to be kept pain free. Tia also needs carpeted floor surfaces to prevent her slipping. Tia could live as an only dog or with another fluent calm dog. Not for cats or children. She needs a moderate exercise regime. Tia can open lever doors and jumps child gates so awareness required. If your mind set is "older Rottie" then her management will be well served. Video:Tia on the common Video: Tia and Ben Her Story: Tia's owner succumbed to cancer at a young age so he moved back with his parents and Tia came to us as a sick dog. She was spayed to cure chronic pyometra and also had her back left knee operated on. She has now fully recovered. Tia remains on low dose anti inflammatories and needs a gentle life style to suit her age. Tia is spayed, vax'd, chipped and fostered with another dog in Addlestone, Surrey. Advert: Tia Maria ...yes she is sweet and addictive! Tia is an accomplished who needs an environment geared to a moderate exercise regime, quiet life style and freedom from kennelled holidays. Tia can be left for up to 5 hour spells, she can sleep downstairs and doesn't need access to furniture. Tia could live with another quiet fluent dog. Tia low growls when you are fussing her, which isn't sinister and once her fosterers demonstrate. Tia can travel short distances in a car but needs support in and out to protect her knees. She can also be sick on longer car journeys.Tia is a small 8 year old with an easy approachable disposition. She isn't guardy but is a little protectionist over her knees though this has lessened in her more recent pain free life. She mixes with dogs well. Meets people and children well. She did used to get spooked but not now. Tia would love a home to offer her shelter and comfort in her latter years. Please visit Tia’s thread on our forum: http://rescueremedies.myfastforum.org/sutra105517.php#105517 to find out if she is still available and for fuller details. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire as a first step: https://rescueremedies.wufoo.com/forms/r7x3s5 so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
