Rest in Peace Cyrus and Sue
We have just spent a week in Hayle Cornwall with 4 dogs, the beach is a stone's throw away from the bottom of the garden and because we went in October (out of season) the dogs are allowed on the beach.

Boturnel farm, Cornwall.

Truly dog friendly, everything is geared towards the dog owner. All well behaved dogs are allowed to remain in your property if you need to go out without them. They do have an extremely large dog creche (I've seen it) should you not want to leave them in the property.

I loved it.

My Brother in Law and his wife recommend this place very highly

http://www.helsburypark.co.uk/index.asp

The grounds we walked around the day we visited them were lovely. A stream, fields, woodland etc etc.

PS.
Anyone visiting to or around Torbay in Devon it would be lovely to meet you and your dogs for a dog walk.

We are off to Cornwall tomorrow to stay near Bodmin in a dog friendly cottage with our GSD Trooper and our friends with their golden retriever. Any suggestions on dog friendly stops on the way from Kent would be greatly recieved!!

We hope to explore the beautiful country side and hope the good weather will last!!!!

There is Silk woods at Westonbirt Arboretum near Bristol

http://www.forestry.gov.uk/haldonforestpark

Haldon forest near Exeter is well worth a visit. It is woodland between the A38 and A30 so can turn off either road to it.
I recommend to follow the children's trail

Cardinham woods in Bodmin is lovely, sure you will have a lovely time.
The link I provided above is just outside Bodmin so check out the places they suggest around there.

We had a lovely week, good weather great walks and lots of good food and wine!!! Trooper enjoyed the Moors ( Bodmin and Dartmoor) the beaches , particularly Rock and the ferry!!! We walked round lakes and reservoirs. Our cottage was good with two large fields to walk Trooper and his mate Jasper !! A really relaxing week.

Linda and of course Mr T!!
