Whilst driving back from deepest Suffolk today Alex and I came upon a lovely place called Pound Farm, owned by The Woodland Trust. Small car park, dog poo bins, no signs saying keep your dog on a lead just 'please pick up after your dog'! I checked out the website when I got home and there are loads of woods across the country, small ones (ideal for walking poopies wot have still got icckle legs but still want lots of interesting sniffs!) and big ones where it may be possible to meet up with others for a walk together. I am sure there will be some which are not so accessible and may have restrictions but assuming that we are all walking our dogs daily (or more) I thought I'd put a link on the site...................there may be somewhere near you! We found a couple we didn't know about Here you go Woodland Trust Sue n Ottowotlikesthewoodswivthesquirrelsinbest |
